Deserve a Fair Contract!
Registered nurses at Massena, Canton Potsdam, and Gouverneur hospitals have worked tirelessly through the Covid-19 pandemic and a nurse staffing crisis to care for our community. After years on the frontlines without proper support, RNs have fallen to despair as they continue caring for patients while being overworked, short-staffed, and underresourced. It's time to support the frontline healthcare heroes who support us.
As community residents, patients, and patient families, I support registered nurses who are fighting for a fair contract to ensure safe and proper care for our community.
I call on St Lawrence Health to invest in retaining the nurses who have invested in our community by negotiating a fair contract that guarantees safe staffing, a safe work environment, and the quality benefits and wages nurses deserve!
This is our community, our hospital, and our nurses.
