ALBANY MED NURSES: READY TO STRIKE!
The Albany Medical Center Negotiating Team has decided that a strike authorization from Albany Med Nurses is necessary to force management to stop the unfair treatment of our nurses, drop the takeaways and bargain seriously over our demands.
- AMC must agree to language that allows us to enforce safe staffing levels and discuss programmatic changes to our work
- Management must drop their demands to freeze RN wages
- AMC needs to address our issues of fair wages and benefits that will recruit and retain nurses at AMC
By Signing below, I vote to authorize our negotiating team to issue notice of an Unfair Labor Practice strike because of Albany Medical Center’s interference with our Federal Labor Law rights and I support the Negotiating Committee's bargaining demands.
